Just recently, Caleb and I went out to Cali to do a show in Irvine called the Punk Rock Picnic and also to go to the Xtremeys. The show was even more interesting this time then last time. I saw 3 fights this year and it was the same 2 chicks every time!  There was literally hair flying everywhere so that was fairly entertaining…. We were supposed to do 3 shows in one day but the promoter didn’t have the money so we weren’t gonna ride until he got it.. So, my manager, BC, the boss that he is, gave him the idea of signing a car over to us for collateral so the promoter ended up signing over his girlfriends car.  Luckily, she was a good sport about it and the show finally went on. The first and hopefully the last time we have to get payed with a car. But the show went good as I got to ride with Taka and Jimmy from Metal Mulisha once again so it was a kool show.

After that we went out to Ocotillo Wells and rode with Ronnie Renner.  He showed us some really sweet hits out there, and I only almost crashed once so that was good. haha

Then all the guys got dressed up and we went to the Xtremeys.  We got there and I had some problems gettin in cause I’m not 21 but got it all sorted out and then went inside and Caleb took best rider of the year and we took best movie of the year so it was a good night. Colten

Now were back at my place and Rafa is here to ride with us. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to ride yet because it’s been storming so hard that it made our to biggest trees fall down in our runway and its been to muddy to ride. So were all bummed cause we want to ride but haven’t been able to.  But soon as were able to were gonna be pushing each other and throwing down hard.  I plan on getting the backflip down while we have time to stay at our place and practice a lot. So look out and be ready for some craziness!!!

The showing of H-Bomb Films’ “Huevos 11″ at the Fallbrook Film Festival this Saturday will mark a short pause in 39-year-old Wes Miller’s commitments to visit all seven continents this year.
Whether appearing at one of the 50 events now scheduled worldwide with his ‘Bomb Squad’ of aerial stunt riders, professionally racing as a member of Honda’s Baja and SCORE-winning ATV team or filming his next motion picture, no one ever accuses Miller of wasting his time with idle interests.
With 20 movies to his credit, including the latest in his very successful “Huevos” series of quad free-riding films, Miller’s participation in the Fallbrook Film Festival is not only a momentous occasion, it also marks the appearance of one of the area’s most accomplished cinematographers.
Residing on a sprawling mountaintop ranch in Rainbow that sometimes serves as one of the sites in his action segments, the lanky Miller’s round trip to the festival will be short and sweet.
That may come as a relief to a man who once re-set his own broken leg so that he could continue in a race after careening off a cliff, or who was stabbed in the back before a Baja 1000 a couple of years ago, only to race back to San Diego to get quickly stitched up so he could still make the start.
Always the supporter of local talent, be it in motorsports or movie making, Miller is looking forward to sharing some of his insights into the crafts that have made him an ATV champion rider and an eight-time winner of the annual Xtremey Awards, the most acclaimed prize in the extreme sports video industry. If his audience gets really lucky, he may even become encouraged to share with them some more of his behind-the-scenes stories.
Miller will be participating in the “Extreme Sports Documentaries Workshop” which will commence Saturday, April 25, at 5 p.m. at Fallbrook School of the Arts, 310 East Alvarado Street. Workshop cost is $10 per person.
The free outdoor screening of the surf movie “The Pursuit” will begin at the same address at 7:30 p.m., with “Huevos 11″ to be shown afterward at approximately 8:30. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating.
